This series of fluorocarbon surfactants are new-type fluorocarbon surfactants produced by polyethylene glycol-based hydrocarbon surfactants and sodium perfluorohexylbenzenesulfonate under certain process conditions. They have good water solubility, can greatly reduce the surface tension of the system, and produce rich and delicate foam. With good emulsifying, dispersing, water-soluble and detergency properties, they are important new-type nonionic-anionic composite fluorocarbon surfactants. This product does not contain PFOS or PFOA.
Main Ingredients: Small amount of perfluoroaldehyde, sodium perfluorosulfonate, diethylene glycol, etc.

1. Overview

In oilfield acidizing and fracturing operations, the well fluid must be discharged from the surface quickly and smoothly after the operation to minimize secondary formation pollution and achieve the goal of stimulation and injection enhancement. However, the residual fluid after operation often cannot be discharged due to excessively high surface tension. Adding the cleanup additive made with this product as the main raw material can effectively reduce the interfacial surface tension, increase activity, facilitate the smooth entry of the well fluid, and greatly improve the flowback efficiency of the well fluid.

The above data are test results with tap water at 25°C. If distilled water is used for testing, the values will be slightly higher, but the appearance and sun resistance will be improved.

4. Application Scope and Usage Method

According to production needs, pre-prepare the cleanup additive at a concentration of about 19%/22%. When preparing fracturing fluid or acid fluid, directly mix the cleanup additive into the fracturing fluid or acid fluid as required; the effect is better when used with corrosion inhibitors, anti-swelling agents, etc. The general on-site concentration is 0.3%, and the actual concentration of the fluorocarbon surfactant is only about 0.003% to 0.006% (about 30ppm to 60ppm). This product can also be used in any other system that needs to reduce surface tension.

5. Packaging, Transportation and Storage Conditions

  • Packaging: Packed in 25kg, 200kg, 1000kg plastic drums; customized packaging is available. This product is non-hazardous and can be transported as general cargo.
  • Storage: Stable under normal temperature and pressure; avoid contact with strong oxidants. Store sealed in a cool, dry warehouse, away from oxidants.
  • Shelf Life: The safe service life of the product is 3 years. If it exceeds 3 years, test it before use.
